Holiday Pay Plan
You can be eligible for up to six paid holidays per year: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
To qualify for holiday pay, you must:
- Work 500 Hours, Excluding Overtime, Within The 16 Consecutive Weeks Preceding The Holiday.
- Be On Personnel Staffing, Inc.’s Payroll the Week of the Holiday
- Work On the Day Before and the Day after the Holiday
Keep an accurate record of your week hours worked on the form provided. You must turn this form in to your PSI Supervisor to collect your holiday pay. You will be paid at your current rate of pay.
As a PSI employee, you are eligible for vacation benefits. The amount of vacation compensation is determined by the number of hours worked, excluding overtime, in a calendar year. For instance, when you complete 600 non-overtime hours as an employee of PSI in a calendar year, you will have earned 8 hours of vacation pay. Every additional 300 regular hours of employment per calendar year entitles you to 8 more hours of vacation pay. This is illustrated in the table below.
There is no carryover of vacation days to the following year. Keep an accurate record of your days and hours worked on the form provided. You must turn this in to your PSI Supervisor to collect your vacation pay.
